ROT FACTORY is a game made by Tolga Nacar. This page says what the game collects, who it goes to, and how to have it deleted. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
There is no account and no login. Your coins, your board and your collection live in a file on your phone and are never sent to us. What does leave the phone is the ordinary run of a mobile game: anonymous usage statistics, crash reports, and — once ads are switched on — the advertising identifier your phone already gives to every app. We do not sell anything about you, and we never see your card details.
Deleting the game deletes everything it kept on your phone.
None of this is uploaded. It has no name, no email address and no phone number in it, because the game never asks for any. If you remove the game, it goes with it.
| Who | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase Analytics | Anonymous events (a merge happened, a Brainrot was discovered, a screen was opened), a random app-instance identifier, device model, operating system, language and country derived from your IP address. | To see where players get stuck or bored, and whether a change made the game better. |
| Google Crashlytics | Crash reports: what the game was doing when it stopped, device model and operating system, a random installation identifier. | To fix crashes. Without it a crash on your phone is invisible to us. |
| Google AdMob | Your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device and ad interaction data. | To show the rewarded and interstitial ads that pay for a free game. See “Ads and your choices”. |
| Apple App Store / Google Play | The purchase itself. Payment is handled entirely by the store; we receive a receipt saying a product was bought, never your card or bank details. | To give you what you paid for and to check the receipt is genuine. |
| Apple Game Center / Google Play Games | Only if you sign in: your platform nickname and the score you post (how many Brainrots you have found). | The leaderboards. Signing out of Game Center or Play Games stops it. |
Each of these companies handles what it receives under its own policy: Firebase, Apple, Google.
Watching an ad in ROT FACTORY is always your choice — it buys a box, a slot or a production boost, and nothing in the game is locked behind one. Ads between rounds can be removed by buying No Ads.
Coins, boxes, skins and No Ads are bought through the App Store or Google Play. We never see your payment details. Refunds are handled by the store you bought from — Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com, Google through the Play Store — and we will help if you write to us.
The game can remind you that your factory is full or your daily reward is waiting. These are scheduled on your phone, not sent from a server, and nothing is collected by them. The game asks for permission only after you have claimed your first reward, and you can turn them off in your phone's settings at any time. Nothing is ever sent between 23:30 and 07:00.
ROT FACTORY is made for a mixed audience, children included. The game asks once, before it ever offers you an ad, which year you were born — and nothing else about you. If the answer makes you under 13:
Until the question is answered you are treated as a child, because the first ads load before anyone can be asked. The answer is kept on your phone like everything else, and it is not sent to us. We never ask for a name, an email address or a photo, from anyone, at any age.
Analytics events are kept for up to 14 months and crash reports for up to 90 days, then they are deleted automatically. Because the game has no account, we cannot look you up by name — but you can still have your device's data removed:
Step by step, with what goes and what stays: Deleting your data.
Depending on where you live — the EEA and UK (GDPR), California (CCPA/CPRA), Türkiye (KVKK) and others — you may have the right to ask what is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to it being used for personalised advertising. Write to us and we will act on it within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information for money.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and anything significant will be announced in the game's update notes.
